We will soon be moving to five acres in a semi-rural area of Southern California. We are naming the place Elfin Acres. I have big dreams of transforming the place into a beautiful and productive small homestead. This will be a continual work in progress and will take time to accomplish our goals – but we hope to incorporate gardens, food forests, intensive grazing (on a mini scale), chickens, ducks, pigs, and even a miniature Jersey dairy cow (or two). Check back soon and tag along as we build this homestead. I know I’m going to have my hands full but my intention is to document the process as we go.
